You are persistent aren’t you, most would have given up by now, Others make steel pulleys and they stand a better chance of lasting longer. Aluminum is cheaper to buy and it is easier to machine the belt profile in to it, so guess why they use aluminum.
I hope you have a scatter shield on your car, you may need it one day.
3rd times the charm I guess. Have had the new pulley on for almost a month now. No issues.
