Not knocking JB Weld, fixed my Probe radiator neck where squirrels chewed it 3 years ago and still holding
( along with a popsicle stick for added support )
Shaft should be removed and minimally cleaned up concentrically on bearing diameter and shoulder, with laser welded beads added around the shaft diameter where the bearing sits and then reground to the original diameter obtain a good bearing fit on a new bearing. Anything else is a waste of time.
