Ive been thinking 40-50mm spacers, but my mechanic told me it would likely make the tires wear a little quicker because the car would “sag” a bit with the wider base and possibly put a weird angle on the tires.

My question is: has anyone done something like this, and did you notice any negative effects in terms of tire wear or anything else?
first of all no one makes lug bolts long enough for a 40 to 50 mm spacer ,, you would have to get this type of lug wheel spacers
no the car would not sag,,, but it is so unsafe that if you went too fast around a conner your spacer bolts might brake you see with out Hubcentric spacers your wheel is held on centered by the bolts,, so don't do it,,,.jim
