Hello! Have a 2005 Limited Roadster Convertible and need to replace the convertible top motor and pump. Can anyone recommend a place to buy replacement parts? Dealer says we need: Mercedes part #A11938000048 and Mopar #5142638AA. Dealer wants to charge $800 for parts and $270 to install. Looking to lower the bill by finding our own parts. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
What it’s doing: When the back window folds towards the back seat and the convertible cover comes out of the trunk, the cover runs into the top and you have to pull the top forward to let the cover go past. When the convertible top folds down into the trunk, it hesitates as if it doesn’t have enough power to pull it down into the trunk. The motor runs intermittently and revs higher and you have to gently push it down into the trunk. When you put the top up the back window doesn’t latch completely and seal the window against the body.
