On my roadster, the pneumatic arm that holds my hood up has quit working. My local dealership (who are a bunch of genuine clowns) want $265 just for the part. The replacement part uses the old plastic strut, you just have to swap out the short cylinder that fits in the strut. You use the original strut with the button in it.
