So, here we are, 4 years later, with even more advanced lubrication synthetic oils on the market. I hear a lot about the Amsoil products, but haven't compared specs. They claim NO WEAR DETECTED in their testimonial advertisements, naturally. The engineers did pick the Mobil1 , 0-40 for our crossfires in 2004, 15 years ago. I wonder if the recommended oil for the MB was a Mobil synthetic or something else.
