That would be my first guess. Ht the button, raise the rear window and lid and STOP - look down in there and see if you see a leaky cylinder.
Just remember that after nine minutes, the pressure is released and all cylinders will relax - so finish moving the top within nine minutes, but you have time to take a look down in there....
