From what I was told by a well respected MB race mechanic / tuner who's father works for Bosch (the mfg. of our ECU) the flash programs that are for sale from the various companies are all exactly the same. They were developed and then kind of migrated all over the place mysteriously, he called it underhanded acquisition.

He told me that there was a website that has all the programs and with some creative ingenuity you can do the same flash yourself. I don't know what the website is, but I'm sure some smart member could find it...

Hell, they're even selling them on ebay now.
