This was a common complaint a few years ago, the issue is in the head itself, - Best Buy has your answer - a new Kenwood or JVC head.
Early 2004 cars had this problem, the display was hard to read as well, they were replaced under warranty.
I had a 2004 car and never saw the word Chrysler on the display.
