ask for the wear number( hardness of the rubber) on the tire 400 wears 40 to 60,000 miles BUT is not the best for rain or dry,,, get a tire around 300 or less for better grip wet and dry, the unroyal was the best rain tire but 15 to 20000 miles and you had to replace them they had a wear number of 240 (I think)
