Cast the net farther in your search, I went from the Toronto area to Ft Lauderdale for my AB coupe. There are a lot of nice cars in Florida, low miles and looked after. I flew down with my son and drove it back in one long drive. If you follow the rules the customs clearance is a doddle, I borrowed the guys plates and mailed them back to him. We carried out the transaction at his bank with a bank draft. Just make sure the ownership is OK. You pay the federal tax at
the border and the Ontario tax when you register it. The cheap way to get the daytime lights is by using the CTC gadget, I got a Canadian market light
switch. That and a new set of tires got me through the safety test. In 2011 the car had 19,500 miles on it, it has now 39,000 miles on it.
Canadian and northern US cars may have seen salt and they tend to cost more in Canada.
