There is a switch on the dash, that would disable this alarm for when you do want to tow the car. Pressing and holding it was suppose to disable the alarm for towing. The blinking light in the switch did not stop blinking after depressing the switch to disable it.

I guess my biggest problem now is getting the key fob to open the door locks...
I was not going to tell you what I thought you meant, you had to tell me.
That light in the switch should only blink when the car is locked.
I think your problem is the pump in the trunk which is under the foam in the photo I posted.
You should hear a sound when the buttons are pressed to lock or unlock the car, it also operates the lights to flash when the buttons are pressed.
