Cam sensor failures are very rare. Crank sensor failures are like flat tires - you WILL eventually replace that sensor!
I carry a crank sensor and have for six years. I've used it three times, once for my car, twice for other cars.

I see German Auto has changed their website a LOT. I'm not liking what I see.
