No, I was commenting specifically on the plug-in boosters.
The other cars' batteries are not the culprit - they cannot produce voltage spikes; but the other cars'
electrical systems can & will produce voltage spikes that are potentially damaging to other cars.
To sum it up, voltage spikes are the bad guys; and voltage spikes
may result in excessive currents in your electronic modules.
