The Merc dealer near me said they will work on xFires so I brought it over to them to have a look. They ran some tests on it and said that they don't feel comfortable messing with the BCM, so they drove it over to their Chrysler shop (they own 4 dealerships all side by side) to have a look. I'll get an update tomorrow
