Default Re: New SKREEM, Locks and 2 Key Fobs Available

My advice, based on my own experience: Pull the SKREEM that is not functioning, send it with the ECM and your original keys, to MDP. They will fix your SKREEM and send it back in plug and play condition. I tried a bunch of dealers and they didn't have the tools or the expertise to fix it. MDP fixed mine in one day and sent it back on their dime, and the cost was $459. I put it back in and it worked, and still works with no issues, no codes. Chrysler and Needswings are not taking any new orders for the part, and I think the problem is that MB controls the coding and won't let them use it. The idea that the non-supply of replacement SKREEM modules "due to getting a new supplier" is simply bogus - SIEMENS makes the parts, made the ones used when they built the car, and these are available through MB dealers, but they won't sell them to Crossfire owners. The easy solution is to have MDP repair your non-functioning SKREEM. I know it works and it's the least expensive alternative. Good luck.
