New SKREEM, Locks and 2 Key Fobs Available
Well I certainly can't correct you about "programming" the keys. What I got from the info posted by maggy55 was that the correct keys have to re-coded, registered or whatever you would describe the process to be INTO the system. OR to put it another way, the key rfid has to be known to the rest of the security system, not the other way around. Once again, that is what I think I saw in the process described.
SOS Diagnostics bought the kit and was unable to initialize it with the DRBiii. Here’s what they wrote me....
It did not work in my car with our DRBIII. The vendor is not much help and is unable to put me in contact with anyone who has successfully used this and how they did it. Though he says he has never had one returned.
I suggest if you buy this, you take it to the dealer and keep your receipts in case it does not work.
We have everything the dealer does, so I’m not sure what they will be able to do.
PLEASE, let me know if it works and how it was done. I’d love for these to work too.
Thank you,
Chad Edwards

My advice, based on my own experience: Pull the SKREEM that is not functioning, send it with the ECM and your original keys, to MDP. They will fix your SKREEM and send it back in plug and play condition. I tried a bunch of dealers and they didn't have the tools or the expertise to fix it. MDP fixed mine in one day and sent it back on their dime, and the cost was $459. I put it back in and it worked, and still works with no issues, no codes. Chrysler and Needswings are not taking any new orders for the part, and I think the problem is that MB controls the coding and won't let them use it. The idea that the non-supply of replacement SKREEM modules "due to getting a new supplier" is simply bogus - SIEMENS makes the parts, made the ones used when they built the car, and these are available through MB dealers, but they won't sell them to Crossfire owners. The easy solution is to have MDP repair your non-functioning SKREEM. I know it works and it's the least expensive alternative. Good luck.
Does anyone know if it is possible to do IMMO OFF on these cars, for sure. I'm reading this forum and I ended up more confused then before. I just wan't to remove the SKREEM without any programming. I don't care about the immobilizer protection. I have a perfectly good car in the mechanics shop for a month and no resolution so far.
Thank You.

I have a locksmith who reprogrammed a used skreem, ignition, and fob to match my vehicle as well as recoding the Vin so it is all compatible. Programming was including a new sentry type key for 300. I purchased the used parts as a kit off of eBay for around 400.
After many different attempts With dealerships, locksmiths and research, this was an awesome turn of luck for me.
BEWARE - I had one locksmith fry my original by attempting to replace the chip in the skreem/immobilizer. The gentleman who helped me did not need to do anything like that .
You can reach him at the link below. He has successfully created keys for a few crossfires.

I would add that I also cannot find a way to program keys with the drb III. under the skreem module, it has an Auto Replacement function that seems to talk to the pcm maybe giving it the secret key with a new ecu but I see no options to add, remove, program keys in any of the menus of the drb III

See >>> MDP can no longer help with our SKREEM failures
They discovered that these modules fail in many different ways and they were only able to repair 4 of them successfully.
They were overwhelmed and yet grateful to all who contacted them and sent them a SKREEM for repair
Unfortunately they were not able to repair many of them as it turn out
I sent my SKREEM and ECU to MDP and they fixed it overnight, plug and play. Still working. I got FCA to pay for it. Sorry to hear they can't fix more of them. Guess I was lucky. There is a company in Chicago - can't remember the name but it was listed on one of these threads, that claims to be able to fix the SKREEM much as MDP did. They are located on 26th street and Kostner, I believe. I'll try and get a contact and name for you, or perhaps one of the Admin guys here can find and post it.
This post was in regards to the new SKREEM with keys kit. I just wanted to update that apparently it is possible to use this kit if you have one. We are having no trouble fixing SKREEM hardware or software problems and we are currently shipping replacement remote keys too.
Please keep us posted on the kit. Even if the new keys can be programmed it might help in the future. I recently sent my key to you for a duplicate spare. Thank you for the service you provide.
