Why started the project on a atmospheric engin and not using a E55 AMG engin for example ?

I will use the mounts off the V6 for the V8. It will be a bolt on part. It was the same deal when I installed the V8 in my S10 pick-up in place of the V6.
I chose to use the engine out of the ML55 AMG because it was available, and only cost $250. This is "The world's CHEAPEST V8 swap".
