Engine is out, took about 4 hours and I was really taking my time with it.
I have some clean-up to do, and a few parts to swap over, I should have the V8 at least set in place tomorrow.
I do still have to climb in the engine bay and mark for my O2 sensor bungs, drop the exhaust and weld them on.
I had intended on leaving the A/C compressor and power steering pump hooked up and set to the side in the engine bay.... but realized it is just so much easier to leave them attached to the engine.
I have a vacuum pump and will recharge the A/C system myself.
Anyways, took a couple of Alleve and I am done for the day!!

Hey Jared,
what clutch kit and flywheel did you end up using?
so is the name of the company that sells these is pro one performance? Has anyone tried these? Are they direct bolt on?
I have a set of these for someone else's project. On the outside, they look decent, Interior needs a lot of grinding, as no effort was made in construction to make them actually flow, or fit the pipes up. I am going to test fit them before cleaning them up.

This method is know to work perfectly, but it takes time and patience to cut, fit and weld. Also, must use SS MIG wire, with matching gas to get rust proof welds. I need to go back and look, but think I used 308L and argon.
