Hello,

First to confirm it's likely the skreem module itself, unhook the battery to the vehicle for a few minutes and reconnect to reset the car. Attempt to turn over the vehicle. If it attempts to start, then suddenly shuts off 3 times and then does not attempt to turnover at all, then the Skreem module very well may be to blame.

The skreem module can be removed, however the car requires it to function, to my knowledge (granted I haven't had a xfire in 5 years). When I replaced mine, the dealership had to perform the repair as it requires recoding. Needswings, an aftermarket vendor, was supplying them at one point, however I'm afraid they have supply issues according to their website. Your best bet, if it is the skreem module, is a trip to chrysler.
