There are a handful of active owners in the Nashville area - you can connect with them on Facebook. (SOrry, but Facebook is where things are going...)

If shifts are not smooth, stop driving it like it was a pickup truck. My Ford Ranger and my Crossfire both shift just fine - but if I drive the Crossfire like it was a Truck, or the Truck like it was a Crossfire - neither will shift right - especially the Crossfire. It is a SPORTS CAR, drive it as it was designed (hard to do in town) and it will be fine. Now, having said all that - I will say that changing the transmission lubricant to Mobile 1 5W20 will help. I noticed a small difference, but after ten years, you'd think the fluid would have absorbed considerable moisture.
