As for the doors locking on their own; I've had it happen to me. I would exit the car and leave the doors unlocked intentionally. Come back to the car and it was all locked up. This happened for a while shortly after buying the car. Now, it is never locked unless I have locked it up myself. I was thinking it was caused by a leak down from the pump.
