Hey, thank you for verifying!
As soon as I'm done looking through the new posts; I'm going for my one and only key fob, pressing the BIG button while shouting out "lock er up.."

Wanting to verify that my crossfire does indeed draw less power when the car is locked up, I did a parasitic voltage draw with the car locked and unlocked. Both tests were performed with a volt meter attached between the battery and the disconnected negative battery cable. After 25 minutes, both conditions produced a settled and stable 2.7 voltage draw. It's an easy test. I kept my ECU memory intact with a tool that supplies 9 volts via the DCL port..

Is that a 2.7 milliampere currentdraw?

Probably 27 MA, which is about normal.

Or, he connected the meter as a voltmeter and the reading is meaningless.

You are correct. I just got in from re-testing and whether the car is locked or not I get 28 - 26.5 mA.
I will be honest about the initial post. It was volts and when asked if my reading was milliamperes I realized that my first finding wasn't useful.
Thanks..
