That is not what I was questioning. Most Crossfires have had the CPS replaced. Most Crossfires have had the RCM replaced including mine. Thing is, if your away from home and the car gives you trouble it can be a long tow. Why tow it when you can fix it with a $60 part in the glove box? If you intend to keep the car for a few more years, or take a trip out of state it is well worth the investment in an RCM and a CPS as spares. It is not a question of "if', but a question as to when either will fail. Now if you are always within a stones throw of the house, no problem.
