I’m a Diagnostic technician by trade so this is a hard one to swallow ... anyway I’ve had the car up on the ramp at work and checked out all the track control arms etc etc , all looks good , it just passed an MOT last week too . When I turn the steering without weight on it I.E off the ground , its disappeared . I think it might be coming from the steering box
has anyone experienced this because it’s driving me crazy .
given that you’re a diagnostic tech, you’ve probable already checked so this is a long shot. Easily overlooked. Shocks and springs age and sag over time. Is there a chance that it may have sagged enough to allow the tires to rub inside the wheel well when turning.
I had experienced this with I changed and dropped the suspension. It rubbed every time is was backing out of a spot. Had to crank it up a bit to stop it.
or a broken spring?
