wow, not sure where that came from.. did you see post #47? i agree with you guys, found the problem and already fixed it. the car runs and drives fine.
but that doesn't mean i have to trust it.
regarding RCM repair, it is a PITA because the relay bodies suck all the heat from the soldering iron before the solder wick has a chance to work. you need a really powerful iron to get this job done, but also take care to not overheat the board. the other option is cut the relay off with a dremel cutoff wheel to reduce the heatsink effect of the relay body.
even though i was stubborn and wanted the experience of repairing the RCM myself, I would highly recommend sending off to Tighed1 for repair.
and as I mentioned previously in post #39, thank you all who helped me solve this, I really appreciate it and couldn't have done it without your help.
