removed the cover. moved the switch contacts several times. sprayed alcohol on the contacts. installed the fuse that i removed previously. (i had the spoiler down before).
started the engine. the spoiler remained down. began to move and the spoiler went up at about 30 kph and remained up even if slowed down. if stop the engine remains up.
seems that what i did didnt work. back to square 1.
pressed the switch down until the spoiler went all the way down, and while holding it, stopped the engine and removed the fuse so it remains down on normal operation.
if i knew that it is the switch i would buy another 1, but not knowing that it seems useless to buy another.
i noticed some rust in some areas. i could remove the whole assembly and clean it all over, remove the rust, and seal everything so no more water gets in.
it is the only thing that occurs to me that may be of some help, but is a shot in the darkness.
