Hi, this is late in coming to your question. I have found a wheel that fits the Crossfire as a compact spare. I've tried it. Front wheel mount would need just a touch grinding or use of a spacer also I found. The wheel that fits comes from a 2008 Saturn Astra with 16" rims. Now it's no where near the same size overall diameter as original but as a compact spare it fits in the back taking up about 6 1/4 inches. The Astra rim is 5x112mm the center hole is a bit larger and the spacers i ordered are for Mercedes 5x112 15mm thick ea. Using maybe just one or both would allow use of full length lug bolts. I'm haven't done it yet but will mount the spacers via a small screw to the spare wheel. I do not like the idea of no spare. What the heck were the designers thinking. Certainly not crossing Death Valley w/o a spare.
