I'm just curious, I was looking at Simmons wheels.
F1?And then there is overall wheel diameter in relation to the increased tire width and ratio aspect.
Do I drop rim diameter to accommodate a taller side wall aspect to keep the same original diameter?
Just wonder what others have done.
The Simmons wheels do give you many options from what I see on their internet site. I think the 5 spoke looks good on the Crossfire. Another wheel you may consider is Oz from Italy for price comparison. Some Oz are very light weight. The smallest diameter you can go on the front is 17" ; Anything smaller will hit the brake calipers. There are some who have done as you indicate by reducing wheel diameter and increasing tire sidewall. That gives a softer ride; But with most things you give up something else: the quickness and control when in tight turns. Enjoy!
