Default SRT6 rear wheel

Those in the know,
What is the widest rim I can fit on a standard height SRT6 on the rear?
offset?
Any photos of those fitted?
Thanks
peter

Not trying to ignore you, but you have to start from somewhere~~ what diameter rim, what brand rim, with or with out spacers. You have to start from someplace; drag racing, using them on the street, for car shows only? Just too many variables that only you can answer and there are several tire calculators on the web that will help with the offset and space relationships.

Thanks for the reply.
I'm just curious, I was looking at Simmons wheels.
F1?
I've always loved the look of a deep dish wheel but modern cars have moved away from these.
The brake calipers are a consideration too.
I had an early 911 and it had 10" rims on the rear with a deep dish. Loved it.
I note with the OEM wheel there is not alot of room between tire edge and fender lip.
And then there is overall wheel diameter in relation to the increased tire width and ratio aspect.
Do I drop rim diameter to accommodate a taller side wall aspect to keep the same original diameter?
Just wonder what others have done.
Peter

The Simmons wheels do give you many options from what I see on their internet site. I think the 5 spoke looks good on the Crossfire. Another wheel you may consider is Oz from Italy for price comparison. Some Oz are very light weight. The smallest diameter you can go on the front is 17" ; Anything smaller will hit the brake calipers. There are some who have done as you indicate by reducing wheel diameter and increasing tire sidewall. That gives a softer ride; But with most things you give up something else: the quickness and control when in tight turns. Enjoy!
