My other two vehicles use ST, I never saw a ST oil that has the MB spec on it yet though. I have a limited lifetime powertrain factory warranty on my 08, would not want to be denied coverage because of some obscure technicality! Wal-Mart Mobil1 0W-40 synthetic for my girl!

Enjoy and spend. On flip side I never heard a MB as the requirement (not recommendation). As long as its meets/exceeds the Specs which ST does....Ill use it all day long. Too bad I cant get a ST oil filter (I use them on all my Vette's)...Hate Oil companies-they put fear in you..
