We've never met, so I'm confused as to which Merriam Webster definition of "geek" you are referring to:

1: a person often of an intellectual bent who is disliked (Some consider me "smart", but I'm also disliked by others.)
2: acarnival performer often billed as a wild man whose act usually includes biting the head off a live chicken or snake (Could've been me in a past life.)
3: an enthusiast or expert especially in a technological field or activity. (Possibly me from the Crossfire enthusiast perspective, but I'm assuming you were actually referencing a computer geek.)
