Default Like/Dislike Functionality

Is it possible to add like/dislike functionality i.e. thumbs up and thumbs down for posts on the forum? It can be a quick and easy way for feedback and to gauge the perceived relative worth of posts.

Just a thought. Thanks.

Top right there is a rating where you can vote with a selection of one (terrible) to five stars (excellent), I guess this averages out over the votes.
I gave your idea five stars.

I think the geek is talking about individual posts, not the thread as a whole. But then, I could be totally wrong.

I think you are totally correct, I thought his thread was worth five stars. Mind you his idea would mean that all my posts would be rated thumbs down, so I do not bother unless someone says something totally false.

We've never met, so I'm confused as to which Merriam Webster definition of "geek" you are referring to:

1: a person often of an intellectual bent who is disliked (Some consider me "smart", but I'm also disliked by others.)
2
: acarnival performer often billed as a wild man whose act usually includes biting the head off a live chicken or snake (Could've been me in a past life.)
3: an enthusiast or expert especially in a technological field or activity. (Possibly me from the Crossfire enthusiast perspective, but I'm assuming you were actually referencing a computer geek.)

Roll Tide...

Thanks for that! I have my screen zoomed in to make the type bigger and didn't realize that functionality had been cut off from view. Guess I'll have to use my cheaters again to read normal size type.

No offense taken. I was actually honored to be potentially thought of as a computer savvy guy. (which I am not!)

Stay safe!

Would like to see a 'Dislike' button anlong with that 'Like' button. I guess my prior post got deleted or never made it to the forum? Anyway, please creat/add a 'Dislike' button.
