Site (forums) not updating with my post.
.
Twice today, commented on two posts (one just now in 'cars', 'crossfire coupe', 'love at first sight' & the other much earlier today in 'technical', 'exterior and lighting', 'Local Mechanic Broke The Front Grill'). Done everything from refreshes, restarts, clear history/cache, reset modem (off wait a few back on). Signed off website, tried refreshing every page and 'marking forums read'... You can tell I posted because my name is on the post as last entry. Please investigate?

George,
You are describing a 'cookie' problem. Your browser only displays new posts IF it's cookie archive is updating properly.
I have no clue what exactly is happening, but it seems to center around your browser. You can clear ALL cookies from your browser (dont' do that!) or you can go in and delete the cookie(s) that are for Crossfireforum only.
I've had to do this maybe five times in ten years, it seems to happen more on thespaceport and facebook than here.

One more thing - I quit having this issue when I went to Firefox. NOT because FF is a better platform, but because I have FF set for auto-updates.
My browser updates automatically. The tracking of cookies is something they fine tune over time. If you set your browser to auto-update, it should keep up with this.
If it does not do this with your browser, change to Firefox.

I still say the issue is with your PC. I suppose it COULD be your logon, but I doubt it. You might send a PM/email to IB's support people.
Cookie updating goes thru Windows "Defender" and Windows' Firewall, I know I have fought some ODD issues with both of those at work, when trying to get SIP sessions to behave properly in our console apps.
It would be interesting to see what IB's tech people say about it.
