Useless Posts
Useless Posts
I've noticed lately that there are posts that have absolutely nothing to do with Crossfire's being thrown on random threads. Almost like its spam, and when you look at the poster they will have just joined either that day or within a couple of days. I commented on it to see wth is going on. It's happening more and more often. Just thought I'd throw this out there to see if the mods can do something about it. Hopefully our forum doesn't start getting bombarded with this kind of crap.
Heres an example, look at last post right before mine. https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...re-emblems.htm

There are posts on that scattered about.
Re: Useless Posts
I don't think there is any stopping that unless we had controls requiring new member approval and verification. That would be more work for site administrators than deleting the problem/useless posts.
Unfortunately, there are still some useless posts, but that is another issue.

Re: Useless Posts
If anyone here spots a post that has nothing to do with Crossfires or it appears to be spam go to the upper right corner of that post click on the red X and report the post as spam and it will be sent to me as an admin and a couple others admins here and we will review the post and more than likely delete it and Ban the user that posted it as a spammer
