there are many alternatives. and i did not sugest 4 of those. if you think about it, just 1 can do for lifting, and for supporting, the cheapest way is wood blocks, as you say.
or 2 sets of stands.

the point is to compare supporting with jacks or stands for safety.
and of course, low jacks are more expensive than regular, but as these cars are low, hence the need.
