The expansion tank in my SRT6 broke the connection port on the top of the tank.
This is a common problem I believe.
The connection port is fragile and made worse by the hose connection being un-supported, placing stress on the nipple

I replaced the tank with a new tank from the states.
To remove the chance that the connection could be damaged in future, I made up a support bracket to take any strain.

I glued a section of Polymer to the tank with two machine screws set in the Polymer.
These screws bolted a section of aluminium right angle in place, which supports a P clip
