When pizzaguy answers a question like this I find it truly alarming.

The module in the trunk controls the timing functions for various operations of the cars lights and locks. Is there a wire from the trunk module to the warning flasher? The module also relocks the doors if a door has not been opened in a specified time after the open command from the fob.

These cars are too smart for my liking, I do not like cars and phones that are smarter than me.
