location, location...
yesterday it hit 40f...and the mirror fell!
i park outdoors under the sun, and when we got a record temp, the adhesive that keeps the mirror (and now also the camera with an extra mirror) gave up and the things fell. no damage, but this gave me the opportunity to evaluate the location. with the help of my son, we tried as many places as could fit, and reached a position where my eyes are as close as possible to the point where am aiming regularly, so takes the minimum distance to watch the rear camera image. it is just at the lower edge of the windshield, a little bit to the left of the center. will try to bring a pic soon.
