No intent to be vague. I don't know what I don't know. The key was in the "on position" for several minutes and the fan at no time came on UNTIL after I removed the RCM. Following the removal of the RCM, I turned the ignition key to the "on" position" so I could turn the steering wheel as I pushed the Crossfire out of the shop. At that time, the fan came on. I have never driven a Crossfire let alone look under the hood of one prior to this car.
Computers and control modules fall under " Black Arts" in my book, I am admittedly ignorant and humbly asking for advice in troubleshooting this car.
