otherwise even if we carry the spares we still will be grounded.
IF the check engine light comes on, then yes. The code(s) will tell you which is in trouble.
But some times, the Crank sensor (and mabye the cam) will fail in such a way that the check engine light does not come on, no code is set.
I do not know why this is, but in some cases, the ECU does not appear to know what it is missing.
