Being somewhat stubborn and thinking it is a problem that began at a high speed car wash as told to me by previous owner....((the problem surfaced the next day after car wash, )).

ill replace the resistor tomorrow based on you guys, but you owe me a cold one if the root cause is water related.
We give you what it could be, without seeing it we are going by past experiences. We do not believe in throwing parts at a car until the problem is solved or not, we leave that to dealers etc.
