Supercharger pulley damage. Help!
Hello everyone,
I am hoping to get some advice from one of you experienced members. Here is the problem. Recently a motor mount broke and unknowingly, I stepped on my modified SRT-6 and did some damage. The engine rose high enough to hit the hood and left a very small dent in it. The supercharger pulley sustained damage see pics. If you look closely at pic #1, you will see a small piece of the rivet has broken off. You will see a round top of a rivet and the washer like peice under it has broken off in half. Look closely at about 2 o'clock. That piece went on to sever two separate hoses located directly next to the SC pulley. In addition, the SC pulley bearing is completely DONE making some very disturbing noises when at idle. I will replace SC bearing and have temporarily replaced the severed hoses and all the coolant that was lost because of this incident. All 3 motor mounts will be replaced next week. UUrgh....that repair is a PITA to say the least. My problem is the SC pulley, it is a 55mm Eurocharged (gen 2) pulley I bought like 5 or 6 years ago along with a tune. Worked like a charm without issue. Does anyone know if this SC pulley can be repaired? Is it dangerous to operate the car with this issue? I have e-mailed Eurocharged multiple times with no answer and they don't have a category listed for srt-6's anymore. I am wondering how I can get this fixed or replaced. Please share your thoughts with me.
