Generally I’m finding cars between 20K and 100K miles that interest me. However, most of the cars in the 20K-30K miles are more than I want to spend. So more than likely I’ll end up with something between 50 and 85K miles.
1. Is it really a good value to spend more for a car between 20-35 miles? Will I get a head start on dealing with some mechanical issues that haven’t arisen yet? Or if I were to buy a clean car with 85K miles might some common problems have already been addressed by the original owner(s) at that point?
2. What common mechanical/electrical issues can I check out myself without taking the car to a mechanic? I’ve used mechanics to check out cars in the past, but with the Crossfire it’s not likely I’ll find a mechanic who really knows to look for.
3. Is there any year, option or model that I should really stay away from….a low point in the production of the Crossfire?
Thank you all for your help and encouragement up to this point.
Steve
