Not choosing sides here BUT, if cars weren't full of microelectronic nanny systems that required scores of thousands to troubleshoot (not mentioning 'fixing' because dealerships have a lot of 'replace parts till the customer buys something else' mentality). Everything would be a lot less expensive (keeping in line to not using the common verbiage 'CHEAP') without them mandated nanny systems. Thousands less, yes thousands, if those damn things were outlawed (and the pool of Darwin awards could possible grow which may be very entertaining). Seriously, this car is expensive and it may get more expensive the less of them there are.
