I don't understand your message. I have my original key and the two keys that you made for me. They all work great. I am super happy with your product and talk you guys up any time the subject of keys appears.
Hi, I have a 2006 that only had one key that was basically falling out of the Fob. Beautiful car otherwise so maybe the previous owner had gorilla strength crushing hands. Took my 84 year old mother for a ride with the top down, stopped at Home Depot, came back out and the key did nothing, all lights came on, top would go up/ Called my husband and the tow company. So, after reading all through the forum it would seem this is going to be a royal pain in the ***. Hoping you can help us, also my husband is not capable of installing any thing (his wheelhouse is limited to being a retired fireman). Help! Tell me what to do\, Thanks, Deven Johnson Sarasota FL

first thing would be to have the car’s battery checked. It’s the least expensive least invasive possible correction.
most auto parts stores should be able to assist you with this.
Thanks, all the dash lights up, the top goes up. It's at an auto repair shop and they said they would call later. I'll tell you what the said when they call.
I'd like SOS and Needswings to justify the cost of new keys! This, to me, is absolutely outrageous for a damn key! Somebody is making a "lot" of profit just because they they are the only place to get them.
Can the ignition switch and door switch be replaced with a more conventional type key switch?
The suppliers of keys (as well as other products) can charge whatever price they want. That's how free commerce works. No need to "justify" pricing. Buyers can go wherever they choose. FWIW, I've been quite pleased with my purchases from Needswings.

Oddly enough, in post 38, he himself explains why the keys are expensive.
I think he learned and grew over time and the post you quoted is outdated.
I bought two empty fobs...transfered the guts from my fobs into the new ones......they are black in color.......not the factory gray but work for around 10.00

When I purchased my car I found one of the fobs looking brand new and the other one looked the worse for wear. I decided to get a new empty fob and put the guts in the.bad looking one into a new case, which I did.
A thread had been posted on how to do it safely, others tried to do the same and either forgot or lost the chip. Others managed to ruin the board that controls the locks.
I keep the perfectly new fob safely tucked away and use the reworked one exclusively, some time back NWings offered the SKREEMs on sale so I got one of those.
yep,if you lose the chip when you pry apart the old fob then you have a big problem and with the new cases you now have two uncut keys, that are no good because they have no chip in them, just sayin

You just need the plastic parts, the blank key could be cut if needed at a later date.
