Keys, How many keys did you get? Is there a valet key? I only got 2 keys and want to know if there is a valet key or a hidaway key for your wallet.

Thanks,

GREG

Just two keys, no valet one. It takes a high-tech key to operate the Crossfire and each fob has electronics in it for security. Also if it had came with a valet key that didn't allow access to the hatch, they could just reach over the seat if you know what I mean...

Two keys are it.... No such thing as a valet key... Little do the sales or service persons know that there are no real alternatives aside from another complete unit..

Although no great solution exists for one that can be easily hidden or a valet version, if you want a couple of spares, your dealer should be able to work something out.

Even though I did, you can always use the line that you asked the sales person for a couple of extra keys, and he/she said 'no problem, our service department can cut you a couple spare keys.

BTW, the price that I heard for replacement keys was around $160.00 US.

Purchased a new key for mine in the UK - ’95.00. Only two fobs can be programmed at any one time.

Upsolute or some other chip designer could recode one of your keys as a valet key, along with a new chip inside the ECU that gave the engine a redline of like 4500 RPMs when the valet key was being used and would stop the throttle at 3/4. That's the kind of valet key I want. I'd do that to my RSX, but I never valet park.
