When my CPS went out, the car stalled and it took three tries to restart it - in traffic. I also got a P0335 and Check Engine Light. I changed the CPS and the CEL went away a few days later, no 'reset' needed.

The P0355 is an ignition trouble code, not a CPS code. Which code do you have?
