I just spent $1100 on the front end and had all the bushing checked by a reputable mechanic. Two lower control arms $546 labor $600 and tax 8% alignment included. ( Steering linkage $133 and steering damper $35 which I installed before the garage did the work on lower control arms. 2 brake disc and pads $135 still to be installed by me.) Seems good "for now!" Still have to put on my new brake disc's and pads. Someone had put cheap pads on the car before I bought it and they create a "lot" of brake dust that I don't want to live with. When weather gets a little better I'll install them.
Anyone know what the rubber part is in the picture? It was laying on the auto-trans cross menber. Seems like it might be part of the auto-trans mount somehow. I can lift up on the rear of the trans about 1" or less.
