I'm still not clear on what you're describing. Neither of those screenshots are from within the new marketplace section?

The new post form can include everything it is asking for, but limit the mandatory info to post an ad way down. Thank you for your feedback. Can you elaborate a bit on what you would change if you could wave a magic wand? I'm not sure what you mean by categories get messy for example.
